The NEC in Birmingham is to welcome Travel Trade Britain 2009, in partnership with Midlands-based exhibition organiser Expo Management on 3-4 March 2009.

Kathryn James, managing director of The NEC, said: "We are always keen to work with organisers to develop new shows based on clear customer demand. We know a trade-only travel show is both wanted and needed in the market place and we are delighted to be able to deliver this."

Along with The NEC and other key industry associations and supporting media, we will deliver a business-to-business event focused on the needs of buyers and exhibitors.”

Travel Trade Britain 2009 will be an exclusive exhibition for the group travel trade, offering access to targeted visitors, by a show organiser with an extensive knowledge of the group travel sector and held at the NEC, conveniently located for visitors from all over Britain and overseas.

Supporting the launch of this brand new show, Sean Taggart, managing director

of Albatross Travel Group, said: "The opportunity to network and do business with our trade partners through a genuine trade show is very important to us at this time of year and so we welcome the announcement of a new trade only event.”
