Olympic Lodge to undergo refurbishment works

Stoke Mandeville Stadium’s Olympic Lodge is to undergo a series of refurbishment works, in a bid to improve the hotel accommodation and develop its outstanding service to teams that use the venue as a training camp.

Significant investment in updating the Olympic Lodge, will include complete redecoration and new TVs with an innovative interactive system. The hotel already offers a cooked breakfast service as part of its recent development to offer customers the highest standard of service.

The hotel, which is based in the heart of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, offers fantastic value for money, including free use of the on-site gym, sporting facilities and swimming pool, 50 comfortable bedrooms all with full disabled access, and exceptional conference and training facilities.

Ian Seabrook, Business Development Manager for Stoke Mandeville Stadium said: “This refurbishment and investment is an important project, which will build and improve the fantastic value for money service we currently offer.”

The refurbishment starts on 14 November and will run for a period of weeks. The hotel will remain open throughout the refurbishment period.

Stoke Mandeville Stadium boasts some of the best sports facilities in the UK and one of the most popular gyms in Aylesbury. The Stadium will host the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Torch Relay’s.
