QEII Conference Centre becomes London venue for major conference

The QEII Conference Centre will become the London venue for the Europe, Middle East and Africa User Conference at the end of October.

Esri UK, the biggest provider of Geographic Information Systems (Gis) in the UK, will be one of 130 separate organisations displaying stands in markets including telecommunications, business, defence and public safety. A variety of speakers will address the conference on how Gis is applicable to everyday life.

Richard Waite, managing director of Esri, said: "This year's Industry Track programme is a real-life showcase for the far-reaching benefits of Gis, underlining how indispensable it is becoming in a wide range of industries."

The conference will run over three days from October 28th to 30th and will see 1,000 delegates attending from 60 different countries around the world. As such it will be a major event not just for those in attendance, but also for organisers in the conference centre, who will be seeking to utilise the building's facilities to make a real impression on the global audience.
