Tokyo comes to The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre

The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC), London’s most prestigious purpose built centre for professional meetings and events, is hosting a Tokyo city promotion event for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government this week.

‘Tokyo Day’ is held in London to promote the city of Tokyo to potential visitors, both leisure and business. The event had a trade day on 28th January – which attracted around 200 trade visitors – and then two public days on 30th and 31st January – with up to 6,000 visitors expected.

Comments Sue Etherington, acting commercial director at The QEIICC: “The QEIICC is delighted to be chosen as the venue for this exciting event, which promotes the excitement and diversity of Tokyo as a visitor destination; and we look forward to working with Tokyo Metropolitan Government to deliver a successful event.”
