EC&O Venues has opened The Museum Hall, a new, purpose-built 19,500 sq ft "exhibition space":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/exhibition_venues.asp which has been created to house semi-permanent exhibitions and entertainment events as part of Earls Court One. The first "event":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/event_venues.asp to make use of the new hall is ‘Bodies The Exhibition’, a human anatomy exhibition which opens on Saturday 12 April. “Trends and developments in the event and exhibition industry point to increasing demand for venues that can host shows for extended periods of time,” says commercial director, Nigel Nathan. “Touring exhibitions are increasing in popularity, with a large number of successful events travelling throughout the US, the UK and the rest of the world. This presents an exciting and profitable opportunity for us, one that we’re ready to capitalise on with the creation of the new space.”
