A Midlands-based event group has appointed a new National Sales Manager with a wealth of experience.
Geoff Smith is the latest member of the management team at the Southwater Event Group, which incorporates The International Centre (Telford), The Holiday Inn, The International Hotel, Grays Hotel, and production company Stagecraft UK.
Chief Executive, Tom Gray, said: “We believe in such challenging economic times that it’s vital we develop strong industry links all over the UK, in order to maximise business opportunities.
“Geoff’s appointment is the latest step in our efforts to strengthen our field-based sales team, and we’re delighted to welcome him to the Southwater Event Group.
“We’re sure his previous experience in the events and hospitality industry will make him an invaluable addition.”
Geoff has previously sold conference and hospitality facilities for events from 10 to 10,000 delegates, working most recently for The Nottingham Arena and The National Ice Centre.
