Penryn Campus: Where Cornwall's Coastline Meets Conference Space

This week's featured venue is Penryn Campus in Cornwall, operated commercially by Cornwall Plus. The site combines academic infrastructure with landscaped outdoor space, contemporary teaching facilities, licensed event venues and seasonal residential accommodation.

The campus supports conferences, summer schools, exhibitions, filming, celebrations and large-scale outdoor events. Capacities range from interview rooms for two people through to large lecture theatres and outdoor spaces that can hold several hundred delegates.

Across the Penryn and Falmouth campuses there are more than 100 rooms and outdoor spaces, suitable for anything from small workshops to large conferences, exhibitions and residential programmes. Hybrid event functionality is confirmed across seminar and lecture spaces, with built-in AV, projectors and free super-fast WiFi as standard.

On-site accommodation is available during July and August under the Glasney Rooms brand, offering en-suite rooms and self-catered flats for residential groups, summer schools and conference delegates. This allows meeting space, accommodation, catering and outdoor areas to be combined on one site during the summer period.

The campus sits within 100 acres of Green Flag Award-winning grounds overlooking the Fal Estuary, with sub-tropical planting, heritage gardens and contemporary university buildings close to Cornwall's coastline.
