Alexandra Palace has revealed its new management team, which includes Rebecca Kane and Jon Johnson.
It is hoped that the move will help establish the London venue was one of the leading locations for events in the capital.
Ms Kane will take on the role of managing director, while Mr Johnson has been appointed as sales director.
They will be joined by events and leisure director Emma Dagnes and marketing manager Charlotte Johnson.
The venue has also rebranded as 'the People's Palace', which is meant to reflect its public ownership.
Ms Kane said: "As the only independent venue of our size and type in London, we will be working closely with promoters, exhibition and event organisers to use this wonderful building to its maximum potential."
Located in north London, the Palace and its grounds will host a number of events over the coming months, including an LCD Soundsystem concert and an ice rink.
