The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC) has again confirmed a commitment to maintaining its status as London’s most prestigious purpose built centre for professional meetings and events, by investing over £1 million in updating its interior.
The main registration foyer has been entirely refurbished and features new state of the art energy efficient lighting, brand new registration desks, new décor and carpets. Visually spectacular artwork has been commissioned featuring notable London architectural scenes. These enlarged images support The QEIICC’s brand values as London’s most prominent and secure conference centre renowned for an exceptionally high level of service and support.
This work follows the recent renewal of all soft furnishing throughout the Centre which has given the interior a similar feel to London’s south bank. Concurrently, there has been considerable investment in a state of the art digital signage system, new stage lighting in the Whittle conference room and a new energy efficient computer system to accurately control the air conditioning and heating systems.
Chief executive, Ernest Vincent, comments: “Our programme of summer works clearly demonstrates an intention to maintain The QEIICC as a modern, efficient and entirely up to date conference centre in a very special location. Our clients can continue to feel confident about delivering a first class experience for their delegates, speakers and the numerous high profile speakers that their events attract. I am certain clients will welcome the improvements we have made.”
