The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has announced that its 2018 conference, built on the theme of ‘Tomorrow’s World’, will be held at ExCeL London on 28 June.
Jeremy Rees, chair of the AEV board and new acting ExCeL London CEO , welcomed the announcement saying: “I am both delighted and proud to be hosting the 2018 AEV Conference at ExCeL London; this marks a response to the feedback and learning from our previous conferences as we move between city and regional venues. Informed by the feedback from the last conference we’ve chosen the theme of ‘Tomorrow’s World’, and we’re aiming to give our delegates a practical look into the future of events, and how they are likely to be shaped by changes in the industry, marketing, technology and other factors.”
This will be the third AEV conference and further details of the conference programme and speakers are still to be announced.
