Chelsea Football Club is celebrating after winning Event Venue of the Year at the Eventia Awards 2012.
Scooping the Gold award in the non-residential, over 500 capacity category, the club was praised for its experienced events team, added value and responsible attitude towards sustainability, as well as its continuing evolution of facilities for conferences, banquets and events.
The Eventia Awards honour outstanding agencies, venues and suppliers, recognising those who deliver exceptional service, quality and versatility to their clients.

Chelsea Football Club, which can cater for events up to 1,500 delegates, consists of 21 function rooms including the 1,400sqm Great Hall, 60 syndicate rooms, music venue Under the Bridge, four bars and restaurants including two by Marco Pierre White, 281 bedrooms in two hotels, and an exclusive health club and spa.
The Eventia Awards 2012 took place on Friday 30 November at Hilton London Park Lane. In the Venue of the Year non-residential, over 500 category, Marylebone Cricket Club were awarded silver and Silverstone Circuits Ltd won bronze.
