Three new appointments have been made to the board of the Scottish Exhibition + Conference Centre (SECC), it has been announced.
Commercial director Peter Duthie, sales director Ben Goedegebuure and finance director Billy McFadyen have all appointed full board members at the Glasgow venue.
Mike Closier has also decided to step down as executive deputy chairman from the end of this month.
Sir Ian Grant, chairman of the SECC, commented each of the three new board members have delivered in their roles.
"This step both recognises their considerable contributions, and commits the company to a robust team that will ensure the arena is successfully delivered and integrated into the business," said Sir Ian.
The SECC is just one of 50 Glasgow venues which will host events during the upcoming Magners International Comedy Festival.
Around 450 shows will take place around the city, a spokesman for Glasgow City Marketing Bureau recently noted, with the festival kicking off on March 17th.
