On Tuesday 7 May 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh attended a service at The Temple Church for the rededication of the newly restored Temple Church Organ.
The Royal Visit began with a special evensong service of thanksgiving and rededication in the Temple Church conducted by The Master of the Temple, The Reverend Robin GriffithJones. All those who attended had donated or contributed in some important way to the Temple Church Organ Fund Appeal.
Following the service, Her Majesty and His Royal Highness visited Inner Temple to meet members of the Organ Appeal Fund Committee, chaired jointly by Master Michael Blair (Middle Temple) and Sir Anthony May (Inner Temple).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness then made their way to a special reception in Middle Temple Hall, where members of the two Inns as well as donors to the Appeal Fund were presented to the Royal party.
