Somerset House dates back to the 18th Century and commands some of London's most stunning Thames side views from its central location, sitting between the Strand and the River Thames. The London venue provides 10 spectacular event spaces which can accommodate corporate or private entertaining from small meetings to drink receptions for 1500.
Somerset House has three rooms earmarked for discreet meetings and events and in order to encourage bookings they will be rewarding event planners with the 3rd meeting for free when a series of 3 room bookings are confirmed.
The signature spaces offer unique architecture as well as complete flexibility and are ideal for meetings up to 100 delegates and receptions for between 80 and 100 guests.

We are keen to encourage smaller events to take advantage of our other spaces that have perhaps been left off the venue search; these rooms are a far more appealing alternative to a hotel boardroom or bland training centre.”
The Navy Boardrooms are suited to boardroom style meetings and accessed via the sweeping Nelson Stairs. The collection of 4 rooms, priced at £2,000 + VAT for all day hire, offer uninterrupted views of the River Thames and are subtly decorated in pastel hues, wooden floors and boast their original marble fireplaces.
The Portico Rooms offer an abundance of natural daylight with views over the Thames on one side and the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court on the other. The Neoclassical architecture offers a blank canvas ideal for dinners and evening events when the city’s lights add magic to the occasion. The Portico Rooms are priced at £3,000 + VAT for all day hire and will hold 100 delegates theatre style.
The Screening Room offers state of the art technology making it ideal for presentations, previews and lectures. The fixed seating for 60 delegates and simplicity of the room allows for easy branding displays and personalisation of each event. The room can be hired for £1700 + VAT and event bookers securing this space can also use the Salt meeting room, usually priced at £500 + VAT, free of charge.
