Located in the Fountain Court area is the relaxed pop-up Champagne Bar. Informal seating and poseur tables cater for between 50-60 guests with the bar serving Champagne, ciders, beers and wines. New for 2015 is the addition of cocktails including Champagne Bellini, classic Pimm’s and pink mojitos which include a refreshing blend of crushed raspberries, mint and lime. Indeed ‘cocktail of the week’ will be announced on Twitter under #MTcocktails. Luxury snacks can be purchased at the bar including wasabi nuts, Osaka hot crackers and paprika nuts.
The pop-up Restaurant on the Terrace offers alfresco dining, making use of the veranda at the rear of Middle Temple overlooking the stunning gardens. Open for lunch service only the restaurant seats 78 people. The menu changes regularly with dishes including herb coated fillet of plaice with seasonal salad and new potatoes, seared fillet of duck with oriental noodle salad and minute steak with coleslaw and green salad. A tasty grab and go barbeque is also available for those wanting an informal takeaway option, which can be enjoyed in the grounds.
The pop-up experiences will operate when the temperature on thermometer hits 19 degrees or more from May- September 2015.
