Unique Venues of London (UVL) is set to celebrate its anniversary at a sparkling event to be held in 2011.
The organisation, which was founded in 1993 to respond to the demand for unusual venues in the capital and to champion networking among its members, will turn 18 in February 2011.
To celebrate the occasion, UVL’s annual party will be held on 31 January at the prestigious Victoria and Albert Museum, with the clocks striking midnight on UVL’s birthday month.
Guests will be invited to join UVL members including Royal Albert Hall, Madame Tussauds and the National Theatre. The event will also showcase the fantastic production, lighting, floristry and catering on offer through the Victoria and Albert Museum’s impressive suppliers.
Lisa Hatswell, Chairman of UVL and Sales and Corporate Events Manager at The Merlin Entertainments London Eye comments: “We are thrilled to see such an important organisation celebrate its 18th year – in which time UVL has become synonymous with quality venues which add diversity to the events market in London. Over the last eighteen years we have carefully grown our membership, launched numerous brochures and witnessed our website becoming the first point of call for event organisers and buyers to find their ideal venue. We hope many of these clients join us for the celebrations and we look forward to what the next eighteen years will hold for us!”.
