York Conferences at the University of York, at their first formal assessment have achieved the Customer First standard, alongside the rest of the Directorate of Facilities Management, who run all the service departments at the University.
To have procedures in place that offer outstanding service and to be one of only 20% of businesses that pass on their first assessment, York Conferences and the University is proud that they are at the top of the pile for service within academic venues and local businesses.
The assessment highlighted that the Directorate of Facilities Management should be ‘commended for their vision, energy and enthusiasm.’ This achievement is added to the recent award for Investors in People and highlights the Universities commitment to constantly striving towards excellent customer service.
