Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 Adds Spice to Delegate Menus

Inspired by the names of its meeting rooms, Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 has spiced up its Day Delegate Rate menus as of this month.

Collectively known as the Spice Trail, the hotel’s business centre includes meeting rooms named Anise, Cinnamon, Jasmine, Juniper, Saffron, Tamarind and Wasabi. The newly adapted menus for morning coffee breaks and lunch now feature these ingredients, which are all known to boast specialist health benefits, perfect for delegates as part of their meetings.

The menus, now fortified with these spice ingredients, can help concentration levels, keep delegates calm and alert, aid digestion and even keep teeth healthy.

Menus change daily to reflect fresh, seasonal ingredients, but delegates can expect delicacies such as anise tea (known to aid digestion), cinnamon pastries (cinnamon can reduce blood sugar levels and enhance concentration), jasmine flower tea (full of antioxidants, it has a calming and soothing effect), saffron risotto (increases oxygen content in the blood and promotes general wellbeing), Mr Todiwala’s tamarind chutney to accompany a selection of sandwiches (tamarind acts as a natural breath freshener and teeth whitener), and wasabi peas and peanuts (low calorie snacks which are also a source of calcium and Vitamin C).

Alexandra Mosquito, hotel manager at Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, comments: “Our revamped menus reflect the growing need for delegates’ food and drink to encourage health and wellbeing in the meeting room. We’ve taken inspiration from our own meeting room names to ensure that this concept remains synonymous with our ethos of unique experiences and inspirational facilities”.

The menus are available as part of the hotel’s Day Delegate Rate, contact the hotel to make an enquiry.
