Interest for seasonal hospitality at Chelsea Football Club has increased to such a level that the club is on the verge of selling out its 5,500 seats, 50 executive boxes and 17 private suites well before the 2012-13 season kicks off.
The club has announced that all boxes are now sold out for next season and, following the highest ever number of enquiries into Chelsea FC's all inclusive luxury hospitality, only a few Millennium Suites are remaining.
A number of the shared hospitality lounges are also sold out after Chelsea Football Club witnessed earlier than normal bookings. In total there has been a 20% increase in the number of seasonal hospitality bookings compared with the same period in 2011.
The boost could be due to the excitement surrounding Chelsea Football Club winning the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup, a historic first for the team. In addition the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament and the forthcoming Olympic Games have both had a positive impact on driving interest in sporting entertainment.
Seasonal hospitality tickets are in such demand that the club faces being sold out entirely before the season starts, meaning there will be very limited availability on a match by match basis. With the cost per game from just over £100+VAT, seasonal hospitality tickets are the easiest and most cost effective way to entertain clients and also guarantee seats at the most popular fixtures.
Simon Hunter, Head of Venue and Brand at Chelsea FC, comments: “As a club we have long believed that corporate hospitality is one of the best marketing tools to develop new and existing client relationships. We’ve engineered our hospitality experiences at every level to reflect this, and to provide the highest quality catering, facilities and hosting across all our fixtures. It is therefore very positive to see such an interest in seasonal tickets for 2012-13. We’d urge anyone interested in hospitality with us who has yet to book to get in touch as soon as they can, particularly if they were hoping to watch the big games at Stamford Bridge.”
Chelsea FC's renowned hospitality includes pre-match fine dining, luxury seating, a complimentary bar, half and full-time refreshments, matchday programme and team sheet. Those in private executive suites will also be attended by a dedicated hostess and waiting staff and enjoy premier armchair-style seating, complimentary pre-match entry to the brand new Chelsea Museum and onsite matchday car parking.
