The Venue at the Royal Liver Building, a new, contemporary event space on the first floor of the Royal Liver Building, is a Grade I listed building first opened in 1911 as the home of the Royal Liver Assurance Group has been nominated for a UK Wedding Award, for ‘Best City Venue’.
The iconic Liverpool venue is representing the city at this year’s awards, as the only Liverpool-based company to be nominated. The venue is up against competition from London venues such as Ham Yard Hotel and The Gherkin, as well as Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse and Edinburgh’s DoubleTree by Hilton.
The UK Wedding Awards is the first ever awards where leading bridal brands hitched, Perfect Wedding and You & Your Wedding have come together to recognise the very best of the UK bridal industry. The shortlist was whittled down from hundreds of entries, by experts from three wedding brands (Matthew Gerry, Managing Director, Weddings; Zoe Jobson, Publisher, You & Your Wedding and Perfect Wedding; Julia Scirrotto, Editor, You & Your Wedding; Peta Hunt, Editor at Large, You & Your Wedding; Michelle Royle, Editor, Perfect Wedding; and Caroline Hendry, Editor, Hitched).
