Now in its 25th year, the Meetings and Incentive Travel Industry Awards are nationally recognised as the oldest and most prestigious awards of excellence within the meetings industry. It is the only meetings industry awards programme where winners are decided by an independently audited democratic voting process with event organisers deciding on their favourite venues.
The awards attracted many entries from national and international organisations including Marriott Hotels, Celtic Manor Resort, Grand Hotel Eastbourne, Hilton Hotels, Fiarmont Monte Carlo and Hotel Arts Barcelona.
Trevor Miller, Conference Sales and Marketing Manager, Residential and Commercial Services comments: “We are absolutely thrilled to have picked up two awards this year, only made possible by the loyal support of our customers to whom we say a huge thank you for their votes. To be recognised as one of the top UK venues in these challenging economic times is very rewarding and helps demonstrate our commitment to continually provide clients with great service and value for money. We are also thoroughly delighted to be recognised as one of the best academic venues in the UK, especially since there are many outstanding universities that continue to grow and improve their conference offering. Our congratulations go out to our fellow Midlands based Universities which undoubtedly demonstrates the strength of academic venues in this central part of the UK.
