The Association of Exhibition Organisers and Answers Training are running a new course designed for the sales teams of all kinds of venues. Entitled, Selling Your Venue, the course is being held at the Business Design Centre on the 24th January 2006. The course is aimed at venue sales staff who are looking for, and who would benefit from, a greater understanding of selling techniques and strategies specifically used for the venue industry, Also valuable for sales staff when selling away from their ‘base’. It is designed to focus on the face-to-face elements of the sales process. It will address handling appointments and pre-qualifying appointments and examine how body language and reading buying motives and behaviour styles are an integral part of their face-to-face communication. The one-day course affords time for role-plays and exercises and there will be plenty of opportunity for individual questions and feedback. The course is not for sales staff who do not receive clients face-to-face, or do not sell their venue.
