CHS Manchester Fringe Spreads Across the City

CHS Manchester has confirmed a fresh round of Fringe events taking place across the city ahead of the show at the AO Arena on 30 September. The Fringe, which runs from 29 September, now includes chocolate making, live music, cocktail masterclasses, food tours, a live pitching workshop and behind-the-scenes venue experiences.

Confirmed activities include Creativity, Chocolate and Music at Hyatt Regency, featuring a sip and paint session, chocolate making with the hotel's pastry chef and a live set from Kenny B. From Power Hall to Cloud 23 combines a live engine demonstration at the Science and Industry Museum with a reception and cocktail masterclass at Cloud 23. Flavours of Manchester takes guests from Radisson Manchester City Centre on a walking food tour, finishing at Townhouse Manchester.

NOWIE is running Pitch Perfect, a workshop in which agency teams respond to a live event brief and pitch to a panel of corporate buyers. The Delegate Wranglers are also planning their own Fringe activity, with details to follow.

The activity leads into Manchester Calling, the CHS Manchester Welcome Reception at Manchester Central, which will include a guest appearance from DJ Clint Boon.

CHS Manchester CEO Emma King said the Fringe has "got a life of its own now, and the industry is taking it forward."
