Legends Global has announced a 10-year partnership with Coventry City Football Club and Coventry Building Society Arena, starting 19th August. The deal covers commercial, hospitality and operational activity at the arena, including conferences and events.
The partnership includes a joint investment of over £15 million across the next three years, with around £2.5 million already committed, according to the companies. The money is earmarked for hospitality, food and beverage, technology and premium spaces, as well as wider venue infrastructure.
As part of the deal, Legends Global is bringing Simon Rogan's Umbel Restaurant Group to the venue through a new residency called The Engine Room, offering a Michelin-inspired menu. Legends Global has also secured a long-term sales agreement with the club to manage premium hospitality and VIP sales.
Doug King, Owner and Executive Chairman of Coventry City, said the investment is intended to establish Coventry "as a leading destination for sport, music, exhibitions, conferences and hospitality, 365 days a year."
