Ricoh Arena's expanded conference and exhibition area will be ready to use next month, it has been announced.
The facilities, which are the product of a £3 million investment programme, will be open to event organisers from May 14th, Event magazine reports.
Work to expand the conference offering at one of Coventry's biggest venues began in January.
This includes the addition of three new exhibition halls, increasing capacity from 8,000 to 10,000, a 650-seat auditorium and a remodelled arrival area for the facilities.
"Event organisers appreciate flexibility and convenience, and our new areas have been designed with these requirements in mind," Ricoh Arena executive director Angus Houston told the news provider.
The venue has been nominated in three categories at the inaugural international Stadium Business Awards.
It is competing for the creativity prize, Team Player of the Year and the prestigious Venue of the Year award.
The venue will compete against the new Espanyol Stadium in Barcelona, the O2 arena in London, Twickenham, the Cowboys Stadium in the US and Ukraine's Donbass Arena for the latter award.
