The Conference and Hospitality Show (CHS) is now in its seventh year, and is the leading event in the North for event organisers, venue finders and PAs. This year, the show is being held on Tuesday 26th April and has relocated to the world class first direct Arena in central Leeds. The first direct arena has hosted some of the biggest names in rock – and the Conference and Hospitality Show 2016 has everything you need to become a rock star organiser. Emma Cartmell, managing director explains; “If you rock the events world, you don't want to miss this show. We have over 200 venues, hotels, technology providers and many other meeting industry suppliers under one roof, coupled with effective networking events and impactful educational seminars too.”
“Attending CHS enables buyers like me to meet the independent hotels and venues – that maybe can’t afford the big bucks and staff allocations to exhibit at the London shows” commented Jo Egan, managing director, Hotel Desk. “CHS also knows how to look after the more independent agencies like mine who can sometimes get a little lost at the London shows. Hotel Desk work with a huge range of venues so it’s even more important for us to keep abreast with the hotel chains and independents. To be able to do this in one place, in one day is very valuable.”
The event has a well-established hosted buyer programme and offers you either fully hosted or VIP status. VIP tickets will be allocated to buyers who can travel to the show on the day, but if your journey time is over one hour then you can apply to become a hosted buyer and receive complimentary accommodation the night before the show. Both VIPs and Hosted Buyers benefit from:
- Back Stage Pass Experience - access to special areas of the event just for VIPs
- Complimentary food and beverages throughout the day
- VIP Pack sent prior to the show with special prize draws only available to VIPs
- VIP Pass for the show allowing you a one hour preview of the show before the doors open to the public
- Complimentary Leeds City Centre parking
- VIP goody bag.
New exhibitors for 2016 include Titanic Hotel and Rum Warehouse, the Devonshire Hotel and the Lowry Hotel. And after the business is done, wind down at the After Show Party – hosted in style by Sandals & Beaches Resorts.
Running alongside the show is a programme of education sessions specifically designed for rock star event organisers and PAs. Highlights include:
