A sail along the Thames with a traditional English afternoon tea is the latest attraction announced by Bateaux London: and there’s a chance for you to win an opportunity to sample this stylish new option!
The one and a half hour tea cruise is introduced this month. Guests can indulge themselves in sandwiches and scones with clotted cream and jam as they sail past London’s most iconic buildings down the Thames - with a solo pianist providing live entertainment.
The cruise will launch with three Wednesday afternoon departures from Embankment Pier at 3.30pm. Afternoon tea will then become part of Bateaux London’s scheduled product range from April to October 2011, operating every Wednesday. Afternoon tea packages start from £29.50 per person and are available to book now for 13th, 20th and 27th October 2010. A Champagne upgrade package, which also guarantees window seating, is available for £39.50 and ensures the best seats in the house.
To celebrate the launch of the new afternoon tea cruises this October, Bateaux London is offering one lucky person and a friend the opportunity to experience the package first hand.
On board the Naticia on the 27th October, the winner can enjoy an afternoon of tea, talk and treats whilst gliding past some of London's most spectacular sights. The package includes the one and a half hour cruise, an assortment of sandwiches, scones and pastries as well as a selection of teas and live music from a solo pianist.
