Featuring 60 free seminars over 3 days, International Confex announced today the 2010 keynote speakers.
The keynote sessions, part of Confex Knowledge, will be supported by parallel seminar sessions broadly themed to address the areas of industry debate, marketing, business skills & personal development, organising & logistics and for the first time, educational content designed specifically for PAs.
“The line-up of keynote speakers at this year’s event promises to be strong,” commented Duncan Reid, Portfolio Director, Confex Group. “The combination of political & economic expertise, in depth media knowledge and entrepreneurship will give attendees access to proven best practice in business and allow them to learn from experiences. We are delighted that Martin Bell, Mark Frith and Jo Fairley have agreed to come and share their insights and expertise.”
Keynote speakers at International Confex this year will address the following topics;
On Day one, “How it went so wrong for the Government and the economy in 2009” presented by Martin Bell, one of the most highly regarded names in British television journalism. Having had a number of career landmarks from BBC Correspondent, independent MP and UNICEF ambassador, Martin Bell takes a closer look at the state of the economy over the last twelve months, the lessons learnt and how to apply these to businesses.
On day two editor of the legendary London magazine Time Out, regular contributor to radio & TV and former Heat Magazine & Smash Hits editor, Mark Frith will draw on his extensive media experience to offer advice on reinventing your product, getting by on meagre resources and using the power of celebrity to leverage your brand.
And finally on day three Jo Fairley co-founder of Green & Black’s shares her knowledge and experience on entrepreneurialism, growing a small business and the importance of corporate responsibility. Fairley will also use her experiences to draw on more traditional messages of marketing and branding in a demanding environment.
