People attending meetings or events at the Brands Hatch branch of the Thistle Hotel chain will soon be able to take power naps in specially-designed rooms.
The events venue has designed a Power Nap training package, where delegates can take an afternoon nap on the recently completed £50,000, self-contained training floor at the Kent hotel.
According to the hotel chain, the package was created after research by the University of California, Berkley, found that curling up for an afternoon snooze can improve the brain's ability to learn.
Sarah Davidson, general manager at Thistle Brands Hatch, said: "This new facility has been designed to ensure that employers get the very best out of their employees. Weve already received lots of interest from meetings and events organisers."
The new floor boasts the largest conference room in north-east Kent, a specially designed self-contained training suite, and six other well-equipped event rooms.
Earlier this year, the hotel chain announced it was introducing a revised meeting and events offering, which would offer simplicity and value for money.
