Celebrity designer Linda Barker is to open the FindaProperty exhibition next year at Hull City Hall.
House hunters from across the country will head to the Hull venue to learn more from some of the region's leading estate agents, the East Riding Mail reports.
Barker will officially open the exhibition on Saturday March 12th and then visitors will be able to gain advice from representatives from all areas of the housing industry.
Estate agents and builders will be on hand to answer questions, as will those knowledgeable in property rental, financial services and conveyancing.
"This is not just a one-stop shop but a one-stop event. People can get all the information they want from just one place," Tim Nicholson, of Intercounty Estate Agency, told the newspaper.
Back in September, the Hull venue's Mortimer Suite hosted the Hull Real Ale and Cider Festival 2010.
Visitors had the chance to taste around 80 different ales, produced by mainly British independent breweries.
