Manchester Central is "superb" conference venue

The British Insurance Brokers'''' Association''''s (Biba''''s) annual meeting will be held at Manchester Central after the conference venue was praised as being "superb".

Eric Galbraith, chief executive of the organisation, said the group is looking forward to coming back to the Cheshire venue, describing it as "one of the most popular venues" for the annual meeting.

"In previous years, exhibitors and delegates have told us that Manchester Central''''s great event facilities, lively atmosphere and wide range of hotels close by make it a superb venue for our event," he added.

This year will also be a star-studded event as both comedienne Ruby Wax and the real Erin Brockovich, made famous by Julia Roberts'''' representation of her in a film, are set to appear at the three-day event.

Also set for the conference are nine seminars and a debate on how the industry looks in the 21st century.

The city of Manchester and Cheshire venues were recently praised as being value for money, when compared to London, Monte Carlo and Lisbon, following research from event organisers Oxford International.ADNFCR-1752-ID-19169051-ADNFCR
