A new £10.8 million sports complex and conference centre is set to open on March 30th in Cheshire.
The Winsford Lifestyle Centre will include two swimming pools, a gym, squash courts, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, dance studio and a multi-purpose hall, in addition to serving as a conference venue.
"We are delighted to have it ready for use. It really is a fantastic facility and I would urge anyone interested in using it for leisure, community activities or business events, to come and have a look around," says John Grimshaw, lead councillor for recreation, rural and culture on Vale Royal Borough Council.
Chris Jackson, quantity surveyor at Morgan Ashurst, which constructed the new centre, says the company is proud to have built a "high-quality, well-appointed and flexible" facility for the community.
He also expresses his hope that people will enjoy using the complex.
The new facility could provide an alternative to other rural Cheshire venues such as Davenport Green hall in Altrincham.
