A recent survey*, commissioned by The Enterprise Hotel, among UK exhibition organisers and contractors has revealed that, despite the pull of ExCeL and East London, 56% of responding exhibition organising companies still run exhibitions in West London. Respondents were largely based in London and the South East.
Kripen Dhrona, Enterprise Hotel marketing and events manager says, “It’s encouraging that over half of the respondents in this section of our survey favour West London exhibition venues. A significant percentage of our business is exhibition industry related so we are keen to see it remain in this part of London and not migrate totally to the East! It goes without saying we are keen supporters of the campaign to save Earls Court and have been greatly encouraged by the investment in the Olympia site by EC&O. There is no doubt that the economic and structural landscape of Kensington and Chelsea is changing. Our hope, as is many of our neighbouring venues and local suppliers to the exhibition industry, is that it will be for the better.”
