For the tenth successive year, Seasoned Events, part of the Crown Group, is to cater for over 500 staff, supporters and runners at the Adidas Women’s 5K Challenge, held in London’s Hyde Park this Sunday (11 September 2011).
The award-winning food and events experts have been contracted by London Marathon Ltd to provide morning refreshments, breakfast buffets, sandwich bags and a barbecue during the women’s 5K run.
The race, which expects to attract up to 12,500 entrants made up of some of the top British distance runners, celebrities and fun runners, helps raise money for countless charities and good causes.
The barbecue will feature food ranging from tandoori chicken steaks, scorched swordfish loins accompanied by a squash and oregano salsa, and Angus, chilli and sundried tomato burgers on handmade brioche baps. All gas equipment will be provided by Seasoned Events’ sister company, The Event Hire Company.
