A new sales director has been appointed at Sandown Park, it has been announced.
Neil Watts MBE will head up the conferencing and events (C&E), hospitality and sponsorship sales teams at the Surrey venue.
He previously worked as sales director at Altitude London, as well as holding roles in companies such as Aquascutum London, Mont Blanc and CE Promotional Marketing.
Mr Watt will be responsible for growing the C&E business at the popular event venue and racecourse.
He said: "I am delighted to have joined Sandown Park - it is a great venue in a stunning location and this [is] a definite opportunity to use my experience and knowledge in the industry to grow the business."
The venue will play host to a number of events this year, including trade and consumer exhibitions, conferences, meetings, live music nights and horseracing.
Later this week, the venue will play host to an antiques fair, while the Big Bead Show will take place at Sandown Park in April.
