Blackpool's conference offering is being promoted on a national stage as part of efforts to attract more visitors to the town.
Representatives from VisitBlackpool and the Lancashire and Blackpool Tourism Board have been in London publicising the town's venues in an attempt to sign up more organisations to hold conferences there, according to The Gazette.
They have had an exhibition stand at the Charities and Associations Exhibition, which is one of the largest conferences of its kind.
Blackpool was the only north-west town exhibiting at the event, according to the newspaper.
Tourism bosses also revealed that they hope to secure political party conferences in the area once a deal has been done to sell the Winter Gardens to the council.
So far, 30 conventions have been booked at Blackpool venues this year.
Meanwhile, Cheshire tourism bosses are to launch a new welcome pack for delegates visiting the area with the aim of promoting venues to them.
